Greg Sumpter, Ph.D. is currently the Director of a juvenile justice agency. He previously served as the trainer and quality assurance coordinator for a juvenile justice agency in the 13th largest city in the USA. He has served in a management role for 15 years. Greg is a member of MINT (Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers), and currently serves on the Professional Development Committee. He has previously served as chair and vice-chair of the Texas Motivational Interviewing Cooperative (TMIC), and was a co-founder of the Motivational Interviewing Training Academy (MITA). Greg is a Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) practitioner. His academic study focused on leadership. He completed a Master’s program with a management focus. His doctoral work was from a Leadership Studies program, with a concentration on leadership development and a quasi-experimental dissertation on MI and Leadership. Greg is married and lives in Texas with his two boys, Rhett (18 years) and Luke (17 years). Greg considers himself a social justice advocate. Greg enjoys sports and all forms of storytelling, including film and books.

Colleen Marshall has been a senior leader in behavioral health and behavior change service delivery and management for more than 15 years. She currently serves as a consultant for startup organizations and health care organizations looking to implement Motivational Interviewing. She is also the Vice President of Clinical Care at Two Chairs and author of Motivational Interviewing for Leaders in the Helping Professions: Facilitating Change in Organizations.
Colleen has specific expertise in behavior change, specifically Motivational Interviewing, and applied this approach to a start-up coaching practice helping individuals diagnosed with terminal illnesses make health care choices.

Fredrik Eliasson is a social worker with 20 years experience, mainly with organizational development and as a leader. Today he works as CEO, owner and senior consultant in his company Cultivate Kindness AB.

Dr. Elizabeth Jenkins is a licensed clinical psychologist and co-author of two books on Motivational Interviewing, "Motivational Interviewing for Leadership: MI-Lead” and “MI-Lead: A Leader’s Guide for Difficult Conversations.” She is a member of the International Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT), co-owner of MI-Lead, and owner of Professional Health Consulting, PA (PHC). She is a Courtesy Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the University of South Florida (USF), and she has over 20 years of experience serving in the Veteran’s Health Administration (VHA) as a clinician and as a trainer in clinical and leadership applications of MI. Dr. Jenkins has been a clinician for the NFL’s Success Without Substances Program since 2010. In addition, for over 15 years, she has provided continuing education and training to physicians through the Distressed Physicians Program at USF and at the University of Florida.
Through PHC, Dr. Jenkins provides group training in Motivational Interviewing (MI) for the helping professions. Anette Søgaard Nielsen is an Associate Professor at University of Southern Denmark. She is MA in Nordic literature, and a PhD in Psychiatry. Anette has 20 years of experience in leadership and management, primarily as the leader of one of Denmark’s largest treatment institutions for alcohol use disorders, and as head of smaller research teams. Anette has been a member of Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT, Inc.) since 1997, and has served as member of the Board as well as a trainer of new trainers in MI. Anette is author or co-author of 80 peer-reviewed scientific articles, seven books and 20 book chapters, in addition to a series of publications for clinicians and reports, most of them about alcohol use disorders, treatment and implementation of evidence-based practice in. Jason Wilcox, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Not only does he do therapy for individuals, couples, and families, but he is also co-author of Motivational Interviewing for Leadership: MI-Lead, and The Listening Space: A guide to strengthening parent-child relationships with motivational parenting. He also co-runs Avid Counseling Services, MI-Lead, and Motivational Parent, a nonprofit. He is a trainer in Motivational Interviewing, Motivational Parenting, MI-Lead, and Motivational Enhancement Therapy.
